When Madonna was found unresponsive Saturday, rushed to the hospital and reportedly intubated in the intensive care unit, her family learned her condition was so “serious” that they feared they could lose her, a report said. Her oldest daughter, Lourdes, flew in from Paris to be by her bedside, and she and the pop icon’s other children and relatives spent several traumatic days not sure she was going to survive what her manager said was a “serious bacterial infection,” the Daily Mail reported. Madonna’s management team also held “crisis talks” via Zoom to make the difficult decision to postpone the start of her highly anticipated Celebration World Tour, another Daily Mail report said. “No one really knew which direction this was going to turn, and her family was preparing for the worst,” a relative told the Daily Mail. “Everyone believed that we may lose her and that has been the reality of the situation.”RELATED...Man who appeared on ‘America’s Most Wanted’ several times arrested in California

Some of the players to watch in NBA free agency, which starts Friday evening:James Harden, PhiladelphiaThe 76ers can’t afford to let him go, and Harden knows this. Other teams will want him, and that will make the 76ers dig deep, It might be a short deal, maybe two years with the second at his option, but if Philly is going to contend for a title this coming season it needs to surround MVP Joel Embiid with elite talent.Kyrie Irving, DallasThis one will be interesting. Irving is one of the best players in the NBA. He also tends to be a challenge, and evidently got unhappy over time at his previous stops — Cleveland, Boston and Brooklyn. It seems unlikely that Irving will want a short-term deal, but there aren’t many teams that can afford him, either.Fred VanVleet, TorontoIf Houston doesn’t land Harden, maybe the Rockets take a swing at VanVleet and throw a ton of money his way. The Raptors need to decide on a direction; the next few days will show if the plan is to ...Corte Suprema: universidades no deben considerar la raza en proceso de admisiones
